If there is one celebrated Nigerian author whose profusely prolific writing has made millions of readers think and feel, opening their eyes to something new and bringing vivid images of another place and time to mind, it would have to be the late, great novelist Cyprian Ekwensi. His literature has endured through time, ascending the ladder of the African classics and helping the people of the continent to evolve and grow through the power and grace of his words and storytelling abilities.
